CIRRUS is a Nordic-Baltic network of Art and Design higher education. There are 20 excellent art and design schools from the Nordics and the Baltics in the circle of this cooperation. The central activities of the partner institutions are art and design, including innovative activities, technical development and artistic practices.

CIRRUS network opens a call for new members

Established in 1990, Cirrus is a Nordic-Baltic network of higher education institutions providing education in the field of design, architecture, media, arts and crafts.

 

Seeking new Nordic-Baltic design-university partners.

  1. Motivation letter telling us why CIRRUS matters to you and to your institution, specifying your fields of education
  2. Two recommendation letters from current CIRRUS members

Email your PDF with the subject line “CIRRUS membership application” to sandra.mell@artun.ee by 4 September 2025 12.00 CEST.
Next steps:

  • The CIRRUS Board pre-reviews all applications.
  • Final approval by member vote at the annual network meeting in Umea, October 8-10.
  • Upon acceptance you sign the collaboration agreement and pay the €1000 annual fee membership starts immediately.
